It’s like something out of a Flaming Lips concert.
Now, is it too late to take up research on Giraffes, or maybe Angler Fish? Just think of the costume possibilities.
I’m thinking HeLa cell, perhaps one with a bizarre phenotype.
Taking inspiration from Giant Microbes, Id’ have to go with a Candida albicans cell or a cool virus, like polio or pox.
or may be a protein structure – although that demands technical abilities beyond what I can phantom…
Just thought of third option: protein crystal. That’s me sorted.

As I think Richard pointed out, if those baby pandas are ever released into the wild, the first time they see panda walking on 4 legs instead of 2 they might freak out.
I am liking Paula’s virus idea, although I think a stylish one like phage T4 would be good.
Also, there are supposedly Pandas coming to the Toronto Zoo next year. Hope the zookeepers are working on their costumes already.
Or: dinosaurs. I’m just sayin’.
